Our Physical Therapists provide instruction and exercise treatments to help patients regain strength and independent mobility.  They may also educate patients families on techniques for safe lifting and transferring if the patient needs help when an nurse or aide is not on duty. Our Occupational Therapists provide patients with new skills for coping with day to day living even with physical limitations.  Occupational Therapists may also train patients on how to get around their homes safely with a walking device. Our Speech Therapists work with patients who are suffering from speech loss as a result of disease, surgical procedures, or after suffering from a stroke. Our Social Workers are often called out to the home to assess the patients needs and recommend other community resources that may prove valuable to the patient and family.
